2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250 Launched :-Bajaj Auto has launched the much-awaited 2024 Pulsar F250 in India. The Pulsar F250 is a faired variant of the recently launched Pulsar N250, targeting riders who prefer a more touring-oriented riding posture and wind protection.
Launch
The 2024 Pulsar F250 arrived in a rather quiet manner. Bajaj skipped a grand launch event and instead, dealerships received information about the new model and its pricing. This launch strategy suggests Bajaj might be focusing on getting the motorcycle readily available to customers
Price
The 2024 Pulsar F250 carries a surprising price tag of Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This positions it at exactly the same price point as its naked sibling, the Pulsar N250. This pricing strategy might seem unusual at first glance, but it could be Bajaj’s way of offering customers a choice between the streetfighter and faired options without a significant price difference.
Engine & Mileage
The 2024 Pulsar F250 borrows its engine from the Pulsar N250. It gets a 249.07cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that churns out 24.5 bhp of peak power at 8750 rpm and 21.5 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. While Bajaj hasn’t officially revealed the mileage figures for the F250, we can expect it to be similar to the N250, which is estimated to deliver around 35-40 kmpl.
Features
The 2024 Pulsar F250 gets most of the updates Bajaj introduced in the N250. This includes a new digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Interestingly, unlike the N250 which received upside-down front forks, the F250 gets conventional telescopic forks. This could be a cost-cutting measure or a way to differentiate the two models. Other features include LED headlamps, a semi-fairing with a windscreen, clip-on handlebars, and a split-seat design.
Safety
The 2024 Pulsar F250 comes equipped with a disc brake setup at both ends – a single disc at the front and a disc at the rear. However, it misses out on features like ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) or CBS (Combi Braking System) which are becoming increasingly common in this segment.
Rivals
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar F250 will compete with other 250cc motorcycles in the Indian market, including the Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer 250, and the upcoming KTM 250 Duke. The Pulsar F250’s attractive pricing and feature package could make it a compelling option for riders looking for a comfortable and stylish faired motorcycle in the 250cc segment.
